Hello Hello Hello

      It should be noted that as I was typing the title I was saying it in my head in Count Olaf's voice.  I feel that this is an important detail.  Especially in light of the fact that this is the blog of a total geek/nerd.   I love Doctor Who, old and new series, Sherlock, LOTR, the Hobbit, Person of Interest, Arrow, Superheroes, dragons, books, movies, gnomes, trolls, dwarfs, and Christian Slater.  

      I have decided to start this blog to give me a place to vent the great excitement that frequently takes over my consciousness.  For example, I was on my favorite author's Facebook yesterday, Terry Pratchett's  for those who don't know me, and I found a link to a publisher's Facebook  which took me to a page that had this picture in the timeline. 

      I know right, how can I not get excited about this?  Its amazing.  I will explain the awesomeness, I don't know if its necessary for you, but it will certainly make me feel better.  The man in the awesome hat is the author of the amazing discworld series, Sir Terry Pratchett, a man who has convinced me of his awesomeness simply through his writing, and the occasional interview or speech.  The blue box he is trying to break into is the Tardis.  In BBC's Doctor Who, the Tardis is the spaceship that ferries the characters through time and space, and frequently saves the day.  See, amazing.

     This was mainly the reason I decided to post today, I'm sure I'll be back with interesting facts soon, in the mean time, stay groovy.
